If you’re looking for a bold cup of tea with delicious smoky flavors, look no further than Lapsang Souchong loose leaf tea. It will be an intense tea-drinking experience that will leave you longing for more. Lapsang Souchong tea has been much-loved in China for hundreds of years. It was a favorite in the royal courts of Europe as an intense and invigorating brew. And when it came to great names like Sir Winston Churchill and black tea varieties, Lapsang Souchong tea was always the preferred option.

Lapsang Souchong tea’s unique smoky aroma and flavor come from its tea leaves being traditionally smoke-dried over pinewood fires, giving it its distinct whiskey-like feel. Its rich taste, pinewood aroma and golden color make your regular cup of tea an extraordinary sensory experience. And now, you too can upgrade your tea-drinking habit and enjoy this strong variety of tea that others have savored for generations.

The best Lapsang Souchong brewing technique is to steep 3g of tea for 5-6 minutes in boiled water at 90-100℃. Lapsang Souchong tea can be enjoyed plain or with a little milk, however you prefer it.

If you’re wondering how much caffeine is in Lapsang Souchong tea – that depends on how long you steep the tea. Usually, a cup of this variety of tea carries between 20-80 mg of caffeine, which is roughly the same amount of caffeine you would get with most black teas.
